A new history exhibit provides a rare glimpse of World War I through artifacts and photographs of California soldiers who served.
The exhibit, hosted by the California Military Department and the California State Library, includes personal diaries and photographs from the time, as well as recruiting posters, period arms, uniforms, and division flags.
California in World War I: 100th Anniversary of the Armistice opened today and will run through March 2019, on the third floor of the Stanley Mosk Library & Courts building, 914 Capitol Mall, Sacramento.
