At CalVet, we’re passionate about our mission to serve California’s 1.7 million veterans and their families. We’ve accomplished much in recent years and we’re excited to chart the course for future successes.
CalVet’s 2018-2020 Strategic Plan will guide our efforts over the next three years. This document defines our mission, vision, guiding principles, goals and objectives.
“We’ve made a lot of progress in recent years and we will continue to build on our successes to continue CalVet’s tradition of excellence,” said Secretary Vito Imbasciani MD.
The strategic plan focuses on four priority goals:
- Providing the highest quality care and services for our veterans and their families;
- Enhancing operational effectiveness to maximize service to California veterans;
- Investing in our workforce to enhance services to veterans over the long term; and
- Providing excellent customer service to our veterans, colleagues, and partners.
